RECUCA

RECUCA, our name is our raison d'être: Travel of the Coffee Culture. The activities are done in a cafeteria designed and adequate with trails, buildings and parking, to meet our goal and our fun to mountaineer. Laughing kings, the most adventurous, become chapoliers and gatherers, dancing to the peasants while we relive the history of coffee. Already the grandparents said: "To the land that you go, do what you see". We assume the role of the coffee grower and participate actively in the work of cultivation. We collect coffee with the activities currently used by peasants in the region. In the picture of harvest, we despulpamos, dry, we thresh, we toast and we molemos the coffee, as did our coffee ancestors.

PANACA

PANACA is an interactive bridge between the city and the countryside, where through interactivity, learning and fun with purpose, it makes it clear to its visitors that Sin campo is no city®. In PANACA, there are crops, agricultural processes and more than 4,500 domestic zoological animals, with which children, youth, adults and elderly people can interact, through their 8 stations and their exhibitions, designed specifically to generate fun with Purpose and learn by doing: • Livestock Station • Minor Species Station • Porcult Station • Agroecology Station • Dog Station • Sericulture Station • Equine Station • Agronomy Station.

COCORA

Is a natural landscape located in a mountainous valley of the Central Cordillera of the Colombian Andes, specifically in the department of the Quindío, being part of the natural National Park Los Nevados. It is the main home of the national tree of Colombia, the Quindío wax palm (Ceroxylon quindiuense), as well as a great variety of flora and fauna, much of it in danger of extinction, protected under the status of a natural national park. The valley, as well as the nearby town of Salento, are among the main tourist destinations in Colombia.

MARIPOSARIO

The Botanical Garden of Quindío is one of the main botanical gardens of Colombia. It extends over 15 hectares and comprises a wide variety of areas and plant collections. The collections of ferns, heliconias and the family of Palmae are the most important collection of live palms in Colombia. Walk through a tropical moist forest. Enjoy exhibits of carnivorous plants and aquatic plants. The Insectarium, the exhibition on the Tunnel of the line and walk through a beautiful natural tunnel are other activities that you will enjoy. Get to know the map of Quindío in high relief, the labyrinth, the suspension bridge, the lookout tower. Ask about the special bird watching program. MUSEUM QUIMBAYA

BAMBOO AND THE GUADUA CENTER

For the development of a tour of knowledge, learning and recreation, the center has: Weather station, guadua museum, library, exhibit of species, children's games, biotechnology laboratory, herbarium, Asian bamboos, propagation banks, greenhouses for Propagation, research greenhouse, transplant booths, nurseries, experimental plots, didactic guides. It also has the infrastructure for events and conferences, such as: Video room, conference room, meeting room, main kiosk, secondary kiosk, rest house, recreation area, camping area.

STATION

Part of the splendor that was experienced in Colombia thanks to the trains is revived when visiting the old railway station of Armenia, which has become the Cultural Center Metropolitan Station. In this building, which dates back to 1927 and was declared National Heritage in 1989, art exhibitions and other cultural events take place.
